What to Expect
All services include the option of aromatherapy, pain creams, heat therapy, and more comforts as needed, free of additional charges.
Manual therapy/functional movement sessions may be confined to one or two specific areas of the body based on need - we will discuss in consultation goals for the session and areas of focus. For Structural Integration 10 Series work, each session is focused on one area.
If you are receiving manual therapy/functional movement sessions, please bring/wear athletic shorts, and a sports style bra for women. We may be assessing gait and participating in movement practice during the session.
There is a common misconception that bodywork has to be painful to be effective. We will always work with your unique adaptive capacity to ensure comfort during your sessions.
If you are experiencing acute pain, we will work to find a position of ease to work in - this may include supine, prone, side lying, or seated positions.
Please disclose any injuries, allergies or medical conditions to ensure the type of work is indicated.
